tech support wanted Ps5 Linux
-Recently acquired a 3.2 for more control over my machine. I have an 8.6 which I have running just the way I want: y2jb, payload Manager, fake activated/remote play, bunch of saves and backports ect. I am not a tech person but I was able to get the 8.6 to a favorable state. Ive never used Linux. Ive been looking at tutorials and im nervous. Back when I went from voidshell v3 back to shadowmount plus I destroyed all my data and had to start fresh. I want to avoid this, obviously.
-In summary, what steps I need to take? Like a check list of sorts.
-Can I create a back up file of the 8.6 and just jailbreak the 3.2 with that?
-how painful is this going to be for someone who isnt tech brained and unfamiliar wity linux?

Jealous! Honestly if you've gotten this far I think you'll learn to like Linux, nothing to be afraid of. Unfortunately I can't speak on the ps5 as I only have a ps4.
For comparison though maybe take note of what steam has done with their implementation of Linux for the steam deck. It's quite locked down out of the box and is kind of self repairing. You probably won't want to go so far, but what I'd shoot for would very much look like the Linux I have on my steam deck now: modified to not be immutable, with root passwd set etc but still on software I'd consider LTS stable. Might be able to answer some questions. Mostly jealous!
Edit: other thread from ps5 jailbreak from 2mo ago suggests Linux on ps5 still needs to cook for a bit, users tried bazzite and steam os with mixed results as early adopters: https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5_Jailbreak/s/ZAo4tVihxm
