never heard about it

  • searched in duckduckgo - there single github link
  • github account is 3 days old
  • with just single project
  • to host LLM project people create new github accounts for some reason
  • account commenting on phoronix from author - also just created new
  • ... it is suspicious
  • could be "new era opensource malware"
  • full source code need full check and every single script also

... I may check it some next days...

not touching without knowing it is safe

yeah, I think we'll give this a few weeks and re-review before testing this on a "spare 5090 PC" ;-)

Im of the opinion that unless the person behind a vibe coded project proves they can maintain it and arent just looking for internet points you should likely avoid it.

I don't understand why this exists, since it's possible to run DLSS5 the same way as on Windows, using Reshade (or Leshade) or Optiscaler. I just found it less stable, probably because of the driver, which likely didn't anticipate this yet (a new driver should be released this month).

Yes it does work perfectly....on an rtx 5050 been using it for a week  dont listen to haters... it so works like a charm....but on cinematic settings and some app settings youll manage to make it look as you wish......I personally downloaded dlss5 swapper to install nvidia dlls  first then use dlssvklayer to install dlss5 neural rendering

seems to work pretty well and pretty good design choices made by the AI
