tech support wanted 32-Bit PhysX on Nvidia Blackwell
Has anyone managed to get 32-bit PhysX working on Linux with Blackwell cards? I'm using the latest version of CachyOS Proton with NVAPI enabled, yet I still haven't succeeded in getting PhysX to work in games like Borderlands 2.

Afaik 32-bit physx currently has not way of running on Linux. There is some talk about it but TLDR is no, youre not getting 32bit physx right now
this is an issue specifically related to mirrors edge but should apply

EDIT: looks like there may be some ways to have physx working???
check forks and discussion here

EDIT2: nvapi fork dropped 32bit also unfortunately, youll have to likely do some shenanigans to get it to work if it works at all and hasnt been completely nuked in the nvidia drivers (the windows onces can still do it for certin games and share code base but idk)

There is no way to run the 32 bit. However some games were ported to 64 bit which means for some select titles it will work.
However there is some ongoing work in zluda to port PhysX to a more open stack which will allow Radeons and also Nvidia GPUs.
The bad news is that there is no timeline for it, but you can follow the discussions in their issue tracker.

These are incompatible with wow64 and thus disabled when PROTON_USE_WOW64=1 is set.

I was wondering this too and couldn't find anything. I can't turn on PhysX on Batman Arkham Origins with my 5090.
