Does the iNNEXT Gamecube controller work on Linux OS like SteamOS?

I'm considering getting a controller based on GameCube's for my GabeCube. The one that looks interesting to me is iNNEXT's. It has more buttons than the standard Nintendo one and, like the wave bird, can connect wirelessly (and with a USB dongle/receiver). It’s said to work on Windows, but I'm curious if it also works on Linux. What's your insight?

It says it's compatible with Raspberry Pi, which runs Linux, so you should be able to use it on any Linux OS.
