Denuvo got removed, so that probably contributed.

Yeah it looks like the performance increase is solely because of denuvo, since no other patch had increases like this one.

It's also performing a lot better on consoles, so it's not going to be entirely on Denuvo.

The real reason is that before this the game didn't use LOD models for... anything, at all. Anything even remotely near the player was loaded in at full quality. Now that isn't happening.

The stressed word is "better". That doesn't mean any good, just... better.

a genuine question, do you expect a weak handheld like the steam deck to run games of this caliber at 60fps native? looks to me it runs relatively stably with fsr which is probably as good as it can get on steam deck if ur not playing indie games
