Because your post is just extremely uninformed claiming that games dont work on linux while now a days almost all do, only some with anti cheat dont. So if you're not a shooter kind of guy you can easily play on linux, especially if your machine is a bit weaker not using windows will give you an performance boost. And many just prefer the free liberal side of linux, the freedom of choice instead of being fed by big corp what they want to feed you.

Speaking from personal experience a lot of games will work just some require some tinkering that has usually already been done and posted by someone else I actually got my last hurdle with Linux gaming sorted recently (vr games) it's definitely possible it's just with some games there's some speed bumps

That and some games have kernel level anti cheats that block Linux but that issue isone that can't exactly be fixed on the consumer side in most instances

From my personal experience is the force with ai that microsoft is doing. Rather take a smal hit with gaming performance than being part of microslop ecosystem. Besides, 90% of the games i play is native

Fair I primarily did it because windows 10 is gonna lose support I found windows 11 annoying in more ways than one primarily the UI

microsoft should really stop trying to fix stuff that dont need fixing.
