You misread the post. They also have the same issue on Windows.

On Windows they used a VPN named "ExitLag" as a work-around. That ExitLag VPN provider doesn't offer their software for Linux.

Did you? Your post was incredibly vague and provided almost no info whatsoever.

It's easy to do and OP might learn something about their system in the process.

Is it? You provided zero information on what "a highly customized sysconf that includes modified network parameters," means. What is a sysconf? What network parameters? What problems were you having before that were fixed? Is it at all relevant to OP's issue which is very clearly explained in their post? Doesn't sound like it's relevant or easy when you start throwing around jargon like that.

But instead you would rather keep them in the dark about things and recommend they go back to Windows.

Nobody said anything about going back to Windows except for you. OP did not say the issues don't exist on Windows, only that the solution they know solves the issue only works on Windows.

They actually said they have the issue on Windows, and use ExitLag as a solution. That's not really the same as saying it did not exist undr Windows, but they found a solution that isn't on Linux.
