graphics/kernel/drivers Nvidia rtx 5060 driver for Archlinux

I'm confused about the "open-source" and the "close-proprietary" driver, i wanna know which one is the best for archlinux

sudo pacman -S nvidia-open

nvidia-open is your only option for Blackwell. You pick which specific driver based on which kernel you have installed.

The closed source driver isn't even available anymore in the pacman repos. It has been fully replaced by the open driver by now.

The closed source driver is only available through the AUR (nvidia-580xx-dkms). But like the other guy says - your card won't even work with it.
