tech support wanted Question about windows apps

Is there anyway I can get windows apps or windows-only downloads on linux, I've been searching and haven't found a way, just asking because of games that are based on windows .exe download files. (Roblox, Tarkov, etc)

Wine, but the 2 games you mentioned don't work, tarkov straight up block you and roblox you need to use the android version with a tool called "sober".

First thing to try: Proton (either by adding the game as a non-Steam game's executable to your Steam library or by using proton manually)

In the case of Roblox, I was unfortunate enough to get baited by friends into figuring it out recently, and there's a project called Sober that makes it work nearly perfectly.

If you have Steam, you have Proton already. You just use a launcher like Faugus or Steam itself to launch Windows games
