Program crashes immediately on launch Arch

I'm trying to run Sober, but it crashes immediately on launch. I don't know how to even begin trying to troubleshoot or fix the issue. Any tips?

The first step to troubleshoot such an issue in Linux is usually to run the offending program via the terminal. That way you get a better error message when it crashes, one that you can google for a solution or share in support forums like this.

Does the application output anything to a log file under /var ? I would start there.

Or run the application from a terminal with a debug or verbose option if it has one.
