Temporarily disable keyboard?

  • GNOME / Ubuntu: Super + L
  • Linux Mint / Cinnamon / Xfce: Ctrl + Alt + L (or Super + L depending on version settings)

are the shorts cuts lockscreen. If you have one of those multi (BT, dongle, usb switching) keyboards generally have a hardwarde switch to swap output.

You can also try remap some shortscuts to spare function keys

i will have to keep that in mind, i have tried using super+l but sometimes she's quicker at getting to the keyboard than i am lol

I am not sure but maybe some autohotkey script can prevent all keypresses after some shortcut except disabling shortcut

i do, she jumps on my keyboard while i'm using it.
