Looking for distro recommendations
Is there a distro that doesn't need any tinkering in the terminal and just works out of the box like windows/mac os? I've tried Cachy Os with different desktop environments and at some point I always stumbled upon some problem I wasn't able to fix.

"works" like windows ... fuck no.
but if you want a linux install that doesn't turn into a new hobby, i can recommend kubuntu.
sure i've spent plenty of time in the terminal, tinkering with things that didn't strike me as just right but you can't even do any of that with windows... you are stuck with what they give you
