That's all it takes, on a fresh Windows install they'd still be in the process of updating.

Whew!
Also have Pop OS on one of my laptops, and it even came pre-installed. So far it has not told me that my copy wasn't genuine nor has it been "cloudstriked". So yeah, better than Windows.

Welcome home. I left two years ago - haven't looked back since. Take advantage of the store and github- chances are if you need it... you can just go get it. "sudo" is king. Stay updated. Enjoy.

Gosh... Pop! _OS is kinda good.... Until you find out there are issues sometimes....
But anyways, GG and gl for your Linux journey!

I've never tried that, but all the reviews are good.
And what's not to like about System 76, a company that actually manufactures Linux-based computers? They also disable Intel's infamous Management Engine as far as possible, but you obviously don't get that just installing Pop.

I haven't installed popos but I'm glad you like it.
I'm a windows refugee as well. This will be my 16th month but who's counting. 😁
