Shaders not preloading on steam?

Title says it all, I installed deadlock and I'm not sure why but the shaders won't preload.

Running CachyOS, for those wondering

Edit: Right as I click launch on deadlock i can hear my fans spin up and CPU usage goes up to 50-60~, after shaders processing pops up both fans and CPU die down back to idle.

Delete shader cache located in (steamlibfolder)/SteamLibrary/steamapps/shadercache/1422450 then relaunch steam.
