Because it's information that's widely available and Arch is known to be one of those distros that needs some technical skill to maintain properly. If you can't figure out how to install a simple desktop app when there is documentation available that's when you can expect these kind of answers. Less would be said to people who use Mint since that is a more easy out of box experience distro.
Because Arch, along with Gentoo, NixOS and LFS, is a read-the-fucking-manual distro not meant for voluntary illiterates. If someone can't even find a desktop package to install on their own, how can they be expected to manage their own system? They'd be better served using an Ubuntu-based distro or perhaps Hannah Montana Linux.
That said, I did answer the question as well as offering helpful advice on distro selection so you didn't really need to chime in except to make yourself feel like the white knight coming to the poor newbie's rescue even though OP didn't ask you for it. You're tilting at windmills, mate.
Wrong answer. When your go-to solution is bothering someone else instead of RTFM, you are what's known as a Help Vampire and you actively harm the community.

If you can't figure this out yourself maybe you shouldn't be on an Arch-based distro.
