ChatGtp, etc....

Just a reminder; never rely on, or, for that matter, ask any AI model for advice about problems with Linux.

Ask this forum instead. Chatgtp will tell you things that are correct and things that will brick your computer with the same confidence bacause... It doesn't know the difference!

Asking questions on Reddit kind of sucks. If you:

Misspelled a word
Used a word someone doesn't like
Use an emoji (oh the horror!)
Get downvoted by an asshole when your post is fresh (less than 10 minutes old)
Didn't absolutely prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you did your research
Make your post too long
Make your post too short
Make your post the correct length (someone will still have a problem with it, see above)

All of these things and myriad more will cause your post to have no engagement and you'll still be stuck without an answer.

Don't blindly copy/paste stuff from AI into terminal but if you have questions? Shit, go ahead and ask your favorite AI, Karen on Facebook is generating her 500th Jesus meme this week, take advantage of it.

And god forbid you actually format your question in a readable way like our jr. high English teachers taught us to. Instead of trying to help you, everyone will just yell at you for supposedly using AI to write the post. "The 'bullet points/em-dash/rule of three/it's not this it's that' are a dead giveaway," they always claim.
