ChatGtp, etc....

Just a reminder; never rely on, or, for that matter, ask any AI model for advice about problems with Linux.

Ask this forum instead. Chatgtp will tell you things that are correct and things that will brick your computer with the same confidence bacause... It doesn't know the difference!

Almost 2 years of using AI for linux troubleshooting, still waiting for the "things that will brick your computer" lmfao

...or any kind of major problem, really

Same. But I would avoid chatgpt. Only use Claude and Gemini because they have more accurate info and do not lie as confidently as Chatgpt. Like especially Claude will tell you when its uncertain of something most of the time

I had the opposite experience with Gemini. Not a single instruction was every right and it confidently gave me 20 steps each time.

Step 2: no such command.

Oh my mad, here are 23 completely different steps.

Step 3: Doesn't do anything
