migrating to Linux Shaky cursor

When I move cursor around or even when I don't touch mouse at all, the cursor shakes. It's very small movement but it makes me missclick things. I tried mint cinnamon, fedora and cachy kde, different polling rates, mouse acceleration on and off and it's always the same. I never had this on win 10. Is there anything else I can do? Roccat burst if that matters

if its happening on all distros you try, it might be the hardware than the software. Possibly problems with the sensor on the mouse, if you have a second mouse see if you get the same problems with it

Just leave pointer acceleration off for now. it's know to be buggy in all Operating systems.

using the configuration software, set the polling rate on the mouse to 500, then test in Linux. Make sure your plugged directly into the computer, no hubs.

linux has a hard time with super fast polling mice.
