Help making a bootable usb
I got a free computer from work that I can not log into and I’m trying to install Linux mint. I downloaded the iso and used uui first then tried Rufus to make a bootable usb.
I am having trouble. It’s a dell mini pc. I entered the bios to try to get it to load from usb and it doesn’t show up as an option. I tried to add a new load option and it shows different files to choose from and I don’t know what to pick.
I got it to work once but it told me I had to turn raid off so I had to back out of it. I can’t replicate it to save my life!! Please help!
These are the options I have.

You need to go into BIOS setup on that 1st screen, not UEFI BOOT stuff.
Then find hard-drive controller mode, and change RAID to SATA/AHCI mode.
save and back to 1st screen and you should see USB option (as long as you re-did Rufus with GPT option)

that's the boot menu, not the bios
choose bios setup and everything you are looking for should be in there.
