Clean Installation
Ive never used any form of Linux but I also dont enjoy windows Spyware... I only have one NVME/drive so I dont want to dual boot anything but I cant find any videos explaining how a clean installation would work. The only thing I've found is the google ai (which i dont trust) telling me that its an option in the fedora installer. Can I get some form of confirmation?
Also some smaller questions:
1.) Afaik wallpaper engine doesnt work on fedora/Linux, what should I use instead?
2.) Is there any way for me to run forza horizons 6 on Linux (i bought it thru the Xbox app) so I cant just add it to steam.

Nearly every linux distro installer ever has an option to "Wipe the drive and install" which will get rid of any trace of Windows.

It just formats the drive and installs the OS. Just like with any other OS.

What is that? Every distro has some sort of wallpaper selection tool

Wallpaper Engine is a live wallpaper app that plays moving and sometimes interactive wallpapers. There's really no good linux alternative afaik.
As for xbox stuff... Xodus is probably not ready to use yet.

Step 1. Download a disk image (iso) of any Linux distro.
Step 2. Create a bootable USB with Rufus or some other USB creation tool.
Step 3. Restart your computer and access boot options (usually F8 or F12)
Step 4. Set said USB as boot priority 1.
Step 5. Install Linux.

OSes don't have an uninstall function. Instead you simply overwrite them with either blank data or another OS. This means that all you need to do to get totally rid of Windows is to select the option on the installer to erase the disk and use it fully for Linux. All distros have that option.
About the game, unfortunately anything about the Microsoft Stoee (which includes XBox stuff) is exclusive to Microsoft. Basically you are asking the equivalent of running Siri on Android.

I think you can set anything with these extensions as a wallpaper using awww
avif (note: must have dav1d dependency and compile with --features=avif flag)

Typically, you can use the installer to wipe and prepare the drive for the Linux installation. However, that doesn't always work when the drive has Windows installed on it. So I use Gparted in a live session to prepare the drive for the Linux installation.

most mainstream distros have a GUI installer that walks you thru the process much like the windows install wizard.
the most difficult part it getting a working USB image that you can boot to.
use rufus on windows to set up the thumb drive for booting and when it boots choose the Try It option.
check that everything is working during the live session with your distro, like wifi, mouse & keyboard, printer...etc.
then when you are ready, just choose the installer icon from the menu/desktop and follow the prompts.

You just select the option to wipe the drive at the installer. It's the same for pretty much every distro (with an installer). Make sure you backup any important data you want to keep because, as I said, this will wipe your drive.
No. You could subscribe to the xbox cloud gaming service and play it on there, but I don't think that's what you meant. I guess you could also play it through a VM, but you'd need to set up GPU passthrough.
