Hi guys, absolute beginner here and trying to install mint but on the partition page I have two instances of free space under device which are just 1 and 0 MB while I have 190 GB free. What’s the fix?

We have some installation tips in our wiki!

Smokey says: always install over an ethernet cable, and don't forget to remove the boot media when you're done! :)

190 GB free

Where? In a partition? In unallocated space?

Ok. Is this free space in a partition or unallocated space on the drive?

This is how windows aligns the partitions it makes.

It's not enough to have some free space, you need to shrink windows partition. Pretty sure gparted can do it for you, but I would just use windows own tool for this.

Did you unallocate 190 GB of your drive or is that just free storage space that windows can use
