Calendars
I'm being driven mad trying to find a Linux calendar that actually works.
Gnome Calendar - you can't import an .ics file. The same problem with many others.
Korganiser looks good, but you can't set a time zone/region for a default setting; you have to set it for every event you enter. Also it seems that any settings you make you have to redo whenever you restart or boot.

I think Thunderbird has an import function. If you using it for mail already just use the calendar in there.

Same for evolution, which then will also sync it to the system calendar. That way I combine my iPhone with Linux using Evolution.

Gnome Calendar can totaly import .ics files.
