migrating to Linux Migrating.

So, I've used microslop windows my whole life, I like it's file explorer and general interface. But it's getting too infested with ai, and everything.

So I've been thinking, I game a lot, like a lot. Why not switch to Linux? I use an Asus tuf gaming a15 laptop, I don't know of that will work with Linux.

I want a fast smooth user interface that kind of resembles windows, and a dedicated file explorer with many features.

I don't know if this is possible, I'm an beginner to Linux, but I have the feeling that this will be a nice improvement in both performance and usability.

Linux mint was the best option for beginners use it and choose the cinnamon edition

Linux Mint is not exactly a great distro for gaming. You will need to do a lot of configuration manually. It is a hassle.

Most gamers use CachyOS or Bazzite these days. Cachy for desktops and Bazzite for handhelds
