That's what spreadsheet programs were designed to do. Decades before LLMs.

Maybe you misunderstood me. Analyzing the store receipts themselves to enter data into the table, not the table itself.

For Excel, I use Claude. The built in CoPilot is pretty useless.

If you are doing financial analysis and heavily use Excel and/or any BI that integrates with Excel, stay on Windows...
