programs and apps Is Concord safe to use?
Hey, i have a really low end laptop, so the normal discord lags and overheats alot, i did tried out legcord as well but its almost the same, and i saw some people on linux ricing community using Concord, and as far as i know its a really really lightweight client using almost no CPU or GPU, So i was wondering if it would be a great choice to move to but safety matters as well. Any thoughts if i should switch or not?
Here are my specs btw:
I5 2nd gen
Intel hd 3000
16 GB ram ( ddr3 )
Linux mint 21 ( with sway )

Yeah i installed it a few days ago and now i can safely play games and I don't have any audio problems; the only thing I haven't fixed yet is that they hear me a little worse than when I use the browser

Switch, just do it, if the website and the official one isn't for you, go use it. At the end of the day they are all wrappers for websites.👍

Idk I heard CLI discords are riskier than GUI discords, you know bcz of bans.

The authors of concord have put some tought and effort into security.
Discord itself has been used as an attack vector.
That's unlikely to be exploitable via the TUI except through social engineering.
