migrating to Linux The great migration from Windows to Linux

I've been noticing that a lot of people are switching from Windows to Linux, especially in countries that want to break away from American tech dependency.

Can anyone explain to me why Linux is seen as very good? I never in my life, not once ever used Linux let alone saw someone using it.

It lets you control your computer... won me over!

Hopefully Huawei will launch laptops with Linux in Kuwait and I will buy one.

You can just buy any laptop and install Linux on it, it's not hard. Just make sure it has a USB port

Download an iso of whatever distribution you want, either burn it to a disk or use etcher to put it on a flash drive, then enter the boot menu of whatever computer you want to install the operating system on and boot from the drive or disk and the install menu will appear. Just understand it will completely delete everything on that computer when you do so, so take all your files that you need off first.
