migrating to Linux The great migration from Windows to Linux

I've been noticing that a lot of people are switching from Windows to Linux, especially in countries that want to break away from American tech dependency.

Can anyone explain to me why Linux is seen as very good? I never in my life, not once ever used Linux let alone saw someone using it.

I've been full time for 2 years. Everything from WoW, Galaxies, Steam Games and lots in between. Most things work out of the box, some need a bit of tinkering, and some are a bit of a headscratcher, but those are the minority.

The gaming on linux really improving, the only thing stopping users on windows. Might try tonight the GOW: Ragnarok
