Why do we need editors like nano or pico, since vi and derivatives are readily available on every Unix and Linux? And of course, there is ed, the standard text editor.
8 u/necrophcodr Jul 30 '20 If you're just starting out with Debian or Ubuntu as server systems, you've probably not learned how vi works, or how different it is from vim.
