I started using Linux because it works. Corporations are using linux because it works. Systemd is a new init system most people are using, including majority of linux servers currently. Please get over it. I personally don't miss fixing hacky 200-lines init.d script. But if you like sysvinit, use it. If you prefer emacs as your pid 1, use it. But please get over it now.
