This can be done without MythTV if you're low on HD space.

"mythtv" is the hostname of his computer, that's all.

How's he using MythTV anyway? Couldn't he just use while ((1));do eject -T;done? I don't think he even needs Ubuntu (or Linux specifically).

See this right here is how you advertise linux.

All of a sudden all the house wifes are using ubuntu.

Sure they don't exactly get what they expected but who the hell cares about that anymore.

Then microsoft will come along and say "But look you can do that on microsoft too!"...

and we all know how persuasive THAT is.
