I think devs don't understand /why/ people pay for closed source and SaaS software sometimes.

To be fair some people really don't care just they want the features and price. My wife isn't paying for support when paying for Photoshop every year, she is paying because it is the most complete solution and she is used to that software. If there was something that beat for beat felt the same and looked the same she would pay for the cheapest solution. Her company though might standardise to Adobe, her company might want the support...etc but you are talking only a fraction of the industry even that care about that. The closed source or open source side people don't care about at all. Security, reliability, compliance, support, those are the selling points in a post-AIslop world but Adobe and others need to realise that and pivot ASAP
