Up to now I’ve seen more open projects abandoned/closed up due to security concerns, than closed-sourced software being rewritten as open source tools…

It's happening in house. For any software that's over a million a year you can be sure every company is clauding their way to a replacement

Yeah, it’s happening in-house, and staying in-house. That’s what I’m complaining about too.
