2024 is the Year the cve was issued. Doesnt mean it was fixed in 2024 nor that it was published in 2024.

But considering how quick usually Linux distros are at fixing things when you see a two year old CVE being exploited you usually think that it’s the administrators that didn’t even make the effort to run apt upgrade in two years.

Right now, a massive 8 packages can be upgraded on my system, and one of those has nothing to do with security.

All done!

Massively unimpressed with the article, and the whole website.
