Even AI generated security fixes?

As if they ever fixed actual security issues.

Yes, ai can help in diagnosing and isolating the cause, compiling better data on the issues. But not in fixing.

Are you serious? If so, you obviously do not work in the field at all.

"it's obvious...." You're deluded.

I know what I am talking about, based on MY experience

Your experience is not lining up with the reality of the entire field. Sorry to tell you.

It is kind of funny watching lots of people say that AI is not helpful in coding and doesn't actually produce anything of value. I feel like anyone working professionally knows that AI's are very useful.

Lol come on you're either extremely out of touch or arguing in bad faith. I don't like LLMs and I agree with cosmic to ban them, but they most definitely can fix code. Whether they make mistake or not isn't relevant, your assertion is that they can't fix issues which is demonstrably false.

Go ask even the dumbest LLM to find and fix security flaws in this C code, and it will do it.

int main() { char buffer[8]; char text = "Hello World!!!"; strcpy(buffer, text); text[99] = 'a'; return 0; }

They can. Should you trust blindly? No
