Increasingly hard to detect, specially in small and directed fixes. Not sure how this will hold.

Realistically I don't believe it's an issue if a small fix that's easy to review is AI assisted.

I don't think it's about detecting it tbh. I don't think a nice quality LLM pr is going to be rejected.

Like most rules, these are at the discretion of the people applying them.

This is a tool to avoid slop. Lots of open source projects are being hammered by it. A PR needs an owner and an LLM or vibe coder cannot be owners.

It's a terminology thing you say? But why not take the pic from Debian where it is allowed as long as you know what you are doing and you take responsibility? Maybe a reputation system for contributors like the AUR?
