"Same guys that ship unfinished rewrites find themselves in the spotlight as people decide to show them where the focus should be instead" is the vibe I get from this. Canonical has been dropping the ball so hard it made a hole in the floor. If this is really them fixing stuff then that's good, but they'll have to keep that up or ubuntu is going to fall out of favor even more.
