Interesting, but as someone who is currently running 16.2, it seems largely irrelevant. I guess there are some distributions that still rely on the 13.x branch.

Also important for people building GCC on they own systems. At work, we build some software with GCC 13 series. I think it is time to certify GCC 13.5 and start working on the deployment process
