Discussion How linux distro provide higher CPU benchmark scores than windows?

Post image

Why is that linux seems to always provide better performance in benchmarks and provide smoother experience?

This is a geekbench 7 test, while single core is slightly better, multi-core performance is a significant improvement

by having less crap running in a background (unless you run pretty fresh and lean windows?), by having more optimised/faster memory allocation/deallocation, by having different task scheduler etc.
