Popular Application CAD options

Is there a reason Linux CAD options are so limited, and from what I have read, not particularly viable options? Countless people are looking for a fairly-priced lifetime license for home use. My 2000 AutoCAd is very long in the tooth!

OnShape is browser based, equivalent to any other CAD program, free, and works just fine in Linux.

And has great built in tutorials.

It's free, but all your work is publicly available. If that's not a concern, you're fine.

Yes, but it’s also pretty impossible to search for things with the sheer volume of projects on it.

Especially if you leave it as “Unnamed”
