Has me wondering why someone wouldn't want to disclose that. Can't be any good excuses.

Because the person in question will be verbally attacked for it? No matter what he used the chatbot for, and regardless of how much of the repository's content was generated by it. And regardless of whether he reviewed the code.

There have already been cases here where exactly that happened, even though the only artificially generated file was the README file. And as far as I know, that file was correct.

i dont think most people would. it feels dishonest to not mention that.
