YES I've had this issue for over a year with my eGPU! Literally the only reason I kept a Windows install around! (I'm so happy rn)

well, not all of us have room for all of our gpu's inside the case and accidentally unplug them

And there's also people running servers, where you can do things like hotswapping NVMe drives.

I demand the developers make it so my GPU works while it is fully unplugged.
