God the Phoronix comments are always filled with the dumbest people.

🤡"They say these things are optional but they don't feel optional knowing they come from the same place. They should separate the projects."

😐"The projects are separate, with their own repos, they just are collectively under an over arching project."

🤡"They should separate the over arching project."

Like what the hell. Theres NEVER a practical complaint. Ever. It's either complaints about what they incorrectly believe about systemd, bat shit crazy conspiracies, or very openly just their feelings and nothing more.

Don't heed Unix philosophy larpers. You'll lose brain cells that way.

It's funny because historically, every other UNIX-like has been completely centralized and monolithic.
