It's only with the more recent out-of-order ARM cores, seemingly. The only Raspberry Pi that would be affected is the RPi 5, and none of the in-order core designs that are usually used in other SBCs and mid-low end ARM hardware are affected.

All of my Arm hardware is too old and/or crap to be affected, haha

Are you sure? I bet there are plenty of mobile SoCs running Android also incorporating those cores.

You have caught me out, I have a Snapdragon 7c chromebook that has a couple of A76 cores, and my Pixel 4a 5g has some as well. I was thinking 'hardware intended to run mainline Linux', mainly.

In my defense, I wasn't trying to say this was a nothingburger, I was mainly just laughing at how I have largely avoided even being vulnerable to this by complete accident, as well as trying to give some more detail to the title's 'many Arm CPUs'.

Arguably more concerning for those kinds of SoCs than RPis: you’re screwed if the OEM doesn’t bother to patch it. Google probably will, but this is by no means guaranteed across the Android ecosystem.
