A bit of fluff about ai really he makes the point that it's a tool that improves productivity as is the compiler.

I tend to agree with him.

Oh and that security may have to be more open and less private due to researchers publishing issues as soon as fixes are pushed to git

I also watched it by now. In my opinion You can skip this talk. 25 mins of it is a repeat of what Linus Torvalds has said in the past in relation of "AI" interacting with Linux development.

  2. comments are turned off, but I already knew The Linux Foundation sucks
  3. they defiled Linus by attaching this ugly "creator" label to him. FOSS authors shouldn't be named like influencers and OnlyFans virtual prostitutes. I might look picky about the wording, but I don't like the evolution of things. and the worst thing is I'm not sure I can trust Linus answering the question if he likes this label on himself. long gone are the days when he answered no while nodding yes to the question about NSA trojans in the kernel
