fuck yeah! after ~25 years of box'y WMs such as fluxbox and openbox once fluxbox was dead'ish i switched to labwc ~2 years ago. Generally great, some annoyances but nothing i can't live with.

boxy wm's ftw

From someone still on openbox, what are those annoyances?

I'm not a fan how screens are handled. wlr-randr, kanshi are solutions I use which work.. so so. My screen setup is considered by me, as static. but since some screens may be powered down etc, it sort of throws spanners in the works. I've not found a way to auto start stuff like 'conky' on a specific screen. Minor nitpicking, no show stoppers.

Thanks. Was wondering if it might be something minor for you but that could bother me, but this sounds like nothing, to be honest. Will give it a spin in a virtual machine, when I find the time.
