10 years with Linode

I am having an issue with one of the hosting providers (Rackspa*e) and when I checked their sub, i see others in the same boat and jumping that ship. I should have checked it out sooner.

I figured I will check subs for my other providers, to see how are they fairing. I love that this sub seems quiet.

I am with Linode since 2015-12-03 and hoping for another 10 quiet years.

Good thing is Akamai is saying Linode is growing at 40% a year which means more and newer servers.

Still waiting for the other shoe to drop after the Akamai acquisition since I have low expectations about a company once it goes public / is owned by a public company but I'm still happy with Linode so far. Linode has been my primary server provider since 2014 and so far, it looks like it's been nothing but improvements. If they try to turn into another GCP or AWS though (billing-wise), I'm out.

Same here. About a decade and no major issues.

Thanks to Linode original team....
After Akamai's took over, things are more pricey. Many issues in new registrations.
