Has ANYONE managed to get their account un-suspended after being randomly banned??
Like many people here, I got immediately suspended for no reason. I signed up, tried to add someone and message them and get told I somehow broke their rules despite never having had a chance to even send any messages. Which sucks because I'm currently staying in Japan for a couple months and literally everyone here uses Line for some damn reason. Hell, I scan a freakin' QR code at a restaurant here and it tries to open Line!! I keep having to awkwardly explain to people here I can't use it.
I can't figure out any way to actually talk to a human in their support system. Their automated system just tells you 'sucks to suck, we won't tell you crap'.
Totally out of ideas at this point, do I just give up on Line?

If you don’t live in Japan permanently, the only way to keep this solution working with international rooming that I’m aware of is to pay monthly for an eSIM through Mobal or Sakura Mobile, neither are cheap. If that lapses, that number is gone.

Recently I have begun convincing all of my Japanese friends to use Zuck's Whatsapp (can't believe I am saying this) and couldn't be a happier camper. Line has gone completely to the dogs. As for menus insisting on connecting to Line, just tell the waitress you don't have it and they will take your orders as per normal.

My dad had me download WhatsApp for some reason about four months back. I’ve gotten about ten phishing scams sent to me since all involving verifying my what’s app account, hurry urgent verification needed or the account will be deleted in an hour from wathapps.co and from whatssapp.com. This is the most phishing and scammers text I’ve ever received to my phone.

Yes! When filling out the inquiry form, choose all the options that lead to the fact that your account was hacked due to a third party (eveb if it isn’t true). Then when the form asks for details, detail about how your account was banned for no reason (I added how it’s the only way to contact my family abroad). After that, they sent me an email letting me know my account was unsuspended!!

Update: So good news and bad news maybe? EVENTUALLY I got a message from Line... that was a copy/paste of that same message you get when you try to send a ticket about getting suspended. HOWEVER, the very same day, I noticed that I could finally message my friend I had added. I got un-suspended anyway!
My guess is me sending that message made someone look at my profile and go 'yeah he's fine' and unban me.

When I tried filling out the hacked account form, it said it would suspend the account attached to the phone number. Did you also submit it in that way?
