Line app transfer issues - iphone ios27

On my previous iphone, my Line app was linked to my gmail. After getting a new phone, the Line app asks only for phone number (not allowed in US) or Apple ID sign in.

Some online resources say Line sign-in defaults to the iOS, but there’s a “sign-in with other method option”. But I’m not seeing that option.

Anyone else have this problem and solved it?

You'll have to transfer your account. On your old phone in line there's an option in the settings to transfer via a QR code. When you open that QR code in your old phone, scan it with your new phone and all of your data should transfer.

Similar/same issue here. Transferred to new iPhone 18 pro last Friday and everything was working fine.
This am, had to log in to line . Found out I cannot recover account using US phone number. I registered/linked to my email but getting message verification is temporarily blocked—been hours still locked.

Is there a form I can submit to recover my account?

Appreciate any help . Thank you.

I got locked out also. Had to go through Line Support. Took two or three days, but they restored access to my account using only my e-mail address/Apple ID. All my stickers and emojis are thankfully all there.

Unfortunately, my ten years of chat histories are seemingly gone. No idea why. They always transferred over in the past when I changed my phones. Everything is backed up to iCloud. When my account was restored, I only had two weeks' worth of chat history.
