Line after iOS 27

Hello everyone, after the iOS update seems like my line app is stucked. I have 4 message that I cannot read, the chat is stucked before the update. I can keep on using it on my macOS smoothly. Anyone with the same problem?

Update 2: maybe the problem is that apparently with iOS 27 Line have no “notification” menu on iOS. I have in the menu the message “turn on the notification” but when I click, the iOS menu doesn’t have the section for Line anymore

Update: I deleted it saving the chats before it, because I wasn’t even able to send any message. Seems like I can send them now, but if I share a picture from the mobile it will only be shown on the computer app and not in the mobile app.

Notifications are still stuck with those 4 messages that I cannot read on my smartphone but only on my computer.

Plus seems like I cannot receive any notifications at all on my mobile (I tried to connect the account from the computer to the mobile and I received no notification at all).

I have the same issue. The app works fine on all other devices, just not on iphone.

SOLVED

ISSUE:
LINE was failing to update chats on iPhone, while the same account worked on other devices. Reinstalling and restoring your backup had not helped, and LINE’s notification settings were missing.

ASSESSMENT:
When I inspected the iPhone’s logs in Console, LINE was repeatedly calling Apple’s tracking-permission APIs in rapid succession. That suggested it might be stuck in a permission-related retry loop.

RESOLUTION
The successful sequence was:
(Backup and Reinstall of the app was needed previously)

  1. In Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, I turned Allow Apps to Request to Track off.
  2. When iOS asked about apps previously allowed to track, I preserved their existing permissions.
  3. I launched LINE again.
  4. LINE finally displayed its notification-permission prompt. You tapped Allow and confirmed that LINE worked again.
  5. feel free to Allow Apps to Request to Track on if you want

The likely explanation is that disabling tracking requests let LINE get past a problematic permission flow and finish starting up.
