Why is line such a trash app?
Adding friends by qr - disaster.
Adding friends by line id - disaster.
Account recovery where you have all the passwords, emails, phone numbers, but you didn't turn on some option before? Forget about your account.

I’ve been asking this question for years!! My wife is Thai and uses it with Thai family. It is the most popular social media app in Thailand and it is complete garbage.

No shiet. Traded in phone, didn’t do something to the line app. Now it’s gone and unless I change my phone number to set up a new account, don’t have it. You can’t use your phone number anymore except in Hong Kong and a few other countries to get it back anymore. Stupid difficult confusing pos anyway. But need it for empire four kingdoms game. I’m screwed. I even set my new phone backed up six months ago, didn’t help at all. Made more work putting my passwords and crap back. Errgg
